SOCIETY & COMMITTEE:

North Galiano Volunteer Fire Department (NGVFD) is supported by two volunteer groups: the North Galiano Fire Protection Society and the North Galiano Fire Protection Commission. Each group is governed differently and responsible for certain support functions.

MEMBERSHIP:

Any resident or property owner within the boundaries of the North Galiano Fire Protection District is eligible to run for election to the board of Directors. Directors may be elected at the Annual General Meeting (held in May). The term of a Director is two years and each Director may stand for a re-election.

MEETINGS:

The Society NGFPS and Commission NGFPC - meet at least 8 times a year.
